Small tree with oval toothed leaves.  Large, white, five-petaled blossoms in April, which become small, but edible apples by fall. 

Persists from former cultivation by the entrance off of Main Street, along Wildwood Drive, and possibly elsewhere in Park.

Unmistakable in fruit.  In flower, the size of the blossoms is a good identifier.  During the summer, may not be noticed, but is easily identified by the green, developing apples.
