Three new resources @ your library

Filed under: Uncategorized — toni @ 1:32 pm

Summertime rolls on by and we are unleashing three new electronic databases for your information. ProQuest African American Heritage, Obituaries and Reference USA.

Reference USA will aid you in your present endeavors. With the white pages in Reference USA, you can locate friends and relatives’ phone numbers and addresses, no matter where they live in this country. Planning that 20th high school reunion? If your former classmates are in the phone book, they will be in Reference USA.

Thinking of opening up a new restaurant and want to know how successful certain areas are? Think of Reference USA as a great resource to use. There are 14 million businesses located in Reference USA. With this tool, you are able to research industry profiles, credit ratings and business expenditures.

ProQuest African American Heritage is an addition to Heritage Quest. This resource provides searchable access to thousands of slave, census, death, and other records. And finally something we have been waiting for a long time—obituaries from the 1800’s! If you would like to look up obits from the following newspapers—check out our website www.radfordpl.org
