Glencoe Museum (Civil War/ Reconstruction)
Enjoy crafters, music, food, and family entertainment in and around this majestic Victorian-style building from the early 1870s. Crafters will present their art to interested visitors while bands and other performers will create a unique festival atmosphere.
Ingles Cabin & Ingles Farm (Colonial/Early American)
Come and visit the rebuilt cabin of Mary Draper Ingles and learn more about late 18th century life from period re-enactors. Ask direct descendants Col. Lewis Ingles Jeffries and his son John Jeffries about their efforts to preserve the site and new archeological findings around the cabin. For a walk, visit the site of Ingles' Ferry or learn more about the Ingles at the nearby family cemetery.
Arnheim (Antebellum)
Dr. John Blair Radford, for whom the city was later named, built this house in 1838 on a hill overlooking the New River. The building has since been used as the home for the Radford family and Radford High School's Home Economics department. It is now owned by the Radford Heritage Foundation, which is actively trying to preserve this endangered historical treasure. Interested visitors will have the rare opportunity to see this prominent building up close.
